One of my favorite slots to play of all time is China Shores by Konami. I've tracked down three mobile apps that have the real version you can play for free.

The colourful slot is dominated by the Yin-Yang symbol, which is the one responsible for triggering the game's lucrative bonus round. I know I can't be the only person who likes this game because it's always busy at the local casinos. Hubby and I would sometimes go early, early in the morning just so we'd have a chance to get on without waiting.

But I much prefer playing at home with no real money involved (so much better for my wallet) and no crowds or waiting.

Download any of these free apps to get started.

China Shores Slot App

Konami, the maker of China Shores, has a mobile app loaded with many of their most popular games. It's available through Google Play and the Apple store.

The graphics are gorgeous – as they should be considering this company makes real slot machines for a living – and they have three variations of this slot: China Shores Great Stacks, China Shores Jackpot, and China Shores Boosted Wins & Spins (the middle reel has two symbols in one box).

I have played this app on and off for years often deleting it because I thought it was too stingy. Having said that, I do have over 250 million coins on the app now so I must have had something go my way in the past.

They do not have 3rd party ads but do have some pop-ups for their own coin packages and features. Those are minimal and unobtrusive.

They also periodically have side games and sometimes those side games temporarily force you out of the slot you're playing to show you a reward for having completed a step in the side game.

I personally find that irritating but it's worth putting up with for the sheer number of real Vegas slots you can play on the app.

WinStar Online Casino & eGames

China Shores Slot Free

This lesser known app is also available on both the Google Play and Apple (designed for iPad) stores and has actually been around for years.

It's a bit on the cheap side when it comes to free coins but there are login bonuses and free coins available through their Facebook page throughout the day.

The home screen isn't as flashy as you might be used to but the slots themselves look nice and are easy to play.

They have stepped things up since I last installed the app. In the past you had to sign in with an email address but now it connects to Facebook which makes using the app much simpler.

The symbols and sound effects are all identical to the real thing.

Once you've downloaded the app click on the eGames tab, then click the A-Z button to sort the slots alphabetically, and scroll along until you see it in the list.

STN – Station Casinos Play

STN looks very much like the WinStar app. As both WinStar and Station are real casinos my guess is that they're using the same software to run an app that is branded to their business.

This one is also available for Android and Apple devices.

If you watched the WinStar video above you'll note the similar layout in the image below. There are some color differences and the title 'Slots' makes it easier to actually find them vs the 'eGames' label that the other app uses.

China Shore App

The China Shores game looks and acts exactly as it does in WinStar, too, down to the round arrow instead of a spin button. Viva slots vegas free credits.

I did, however, get free spins AND a big win on this one whereas that wasn't the case in today's tests on the WinStar app. Maybe that was just new player luck.
